A DELIGHTFUL DINING EXPERIENCE AT OLIJVENKRAAL

Delectable cuisine, breathtaking views and excellent service makes for an unforgettable experience at Olijvenkraal. Our in-house caterer has curated a diverse & extensive range of menu options to provide a culinary experience your guests are sure to remember.

A BOUTIQUE OFFERING OF OLIVES & WINE

Olijvenkraal is also an olive & wine producing farm. Since its establishment, it has grown to produce limited batches of red wine – namely Malbec, Shiraz and Touriga Naçional – alongside harvesting 150 tons of olives, which are then cold-pressed to extract olive oil.

A Truly Authentic Cape Winelands Experience

This valley is where many French Huguenots settled in the late 1600s. Surrounded by the majestic amphitheatre of the Simonsberg mountains, their farms were described by Peter Kolbe, the German surveyor and astronomer who lived at the Cape from 1704 until 1713, as ‘very beautiful to the eye, and yielding corn and wine in great plenty’.

Two farm dams ensure an abundance of birdlife with our newly-introduced swans evoking feelings of tranquillity as they glide gracefully across the water. And, as you stroll across the rolling lawns or meander between the vines and olive trees, you may even be lucky enough to spot one of our resident springbok.
